In a somber event on Highway 401 in Etobicoke, three children lost their lives after a crash potentially involving impaired driving. The incident occurred around 12:33 a.m., when a vehicle hit a stopped car occupied by six individuals. While two of the children were declared dead at the scene, the third succumbed to injuries later in the hospital. Additionally, a fourth child and two adults were injured and transported to the hospital. A 19-year-old man, who was the sole occupant of the other vehicle, has been arrested and faces charges of impaired driving. Renforth Drive remains closed for further investigation.
