"A 24-year-old man has died after a fight in a Whitby parking lot Saturday night, said police. Officers were called to a parking lots near Coloborne Street East and Green Street in Whitby for a fight around 11:55 p.m., said Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) in a news release. A man, who had been assaulted, was found at the scene and taken to hospital, said police."
"Thomas Holm, 24, of Whitby later died at the hospital from his injuries. Police said they arrested a 28-year-old man from Ajax and charged him with manslaughter in relation to the incident. He was held for a bail hearing, said the DRPS. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the DRPS or Crime Stoppers."
