Disney closed a deal with Comcast to buy Hulu's remaining stake, allowing for full control over the streaming service. Disney CEO Bob Iger announced plans to integrate Hulu into the Disney+ platform, centralizing services around one ad server. Viewers will be able to choose between Hulu and Disney+ subscriptions, but access will be through Disney+. The merger also involves plans to combine Hulu With Live TV and Fubo, positioning Disney for long-term dominance in streaming while Hulu's independent identity diminishes.
