Radha Subramanyam died on January 5 at age 55 after a battle with cancer. Born and raised in New Delhi, she earned a doctorate in Radio, Television and Film at Northwestern University and taught at Vassar and NYU. She held research roles at MTV Networks, Yahoo and Nielsen and served as President of Insights, Research and Data Analytics at iHeartMedia. She joined CBS in 2017, was promoted within 18 months, and oversaw audience measurement, program and ad analytics, marketing research, program testing, social media measurement, ROI measurement, attribution and advertising research. She received multiple industry awards and is survived by her husband Joseph and children Tara and River.
