Lance Kerwin, a former child actor who played the title role in the 1970s coming-of-age drama James at 15 and a vampire hunter in a mini-series based on the Stephen King novel Salem's Lot, died on Tuesday at his home in San Clemente, Calif.He was 62. His death was confirmed by his daughter Savanah Kerwin, who said that a cause had not been determined and that the family was awaiting the results of an autopsy.
