Some Hulu profiles can now link to Disney+, bringing Hulu watch history, watchlist, and recommendations into Disney+. Linking is available to eligible Disney+, Hulu bundle and Disney+, Hulu, ESPN bundle subscribers, with rollout to all bundle subscribers later this year. Hulu-only subscribers who log into the Disney+ app continue to receive a small sampling of Disney+ and ESPN content. Disney is testing a new Disney+ TV guide for live content, including 24/7 channels such as ABC News Live and The Simpsons. Disney+ also supports HDR10+ for over 1,000 Hulu titles, starting in October. Disney plans further work to unify capabilities, improve recommendations, track streaming for advertising, crack down on password sharing, and simplify streaming technology for cost savings and reliability.
