God Of War TV Series Finds Its Kratos With Sons Of Anarchy Actor
"Prime Video also confirmed more details about the TV series, revealed that the show will "closely follow the path of the last two games," as Kratos and his son Atreus go on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. "As announced previously, Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D. Moore is the showrunner, executive producer, and writer for the God of War show. Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios are producing the series, alongside PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions. Frederick E.O. Toye (The Boys, Fallout) is directing the first two episodes. There is no release date yet. Prime Video is also behind the upcoming Tomb Raider live-action TV show starring Sophie Turner."
Ryan Hurst will play Kratos in Prime Video's live-action God of War series. Hurst played Thor in God of War Ragnarok and earned a BAFTA nomination. The series will closely follow the last two games as Kratos and his son Atreus journey to spread Faye's ashes. Through their adventures Kratos teaches Atreus to be a better god while Atreus tries to teach Kratos to be a better human. Filming is set to begin in Vancouver. Ronald D.
