An official Central Perk coffee shop from the Friends universe will open in Times Square at the corner of Seventh Avenue and 47th Street. The new location is the second official Central Perk, following an original Boston property, and will be owned and operated by the same team behind the Boston site, including Tom Colicchio and the architectural firm Glen & Co. The Times Square venue was always planned as a future expansion to bring the Manhattan-based fictional coffeehouse to fans, featuring creative coffee drinks and a modern yet familiar atmosphere.
