For All Mankind returns for season five on Apple TV+ on March 27, with ten episodes released weekly through May 29. A short teaser features Alex Baldwin, the grandson of the show's original star, riding a motorcycle on Mars. The series began as an alternate-history premise imagining Russia beating the USA to the moon and later became known for time jumps. Season five is set in an alternate 2010s and follows competing space agencies after Mars becomes a viable colony. Many original cast members return, while new actors join the ensemble. Apple TV+ also announced a Soviet-set spinoff with few details.
