After his semifinal defeat at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic affirmed he does not believe this is his final appearance at the tournament. The 38-year-old, who lost in straight sets to Jannik Sinner, received a standing ovation as he left the court. Djokovic expressed a desire to return, stating he is not ready to conclude his Wimbledon career. He acknowledged some physical challenges during the match but maintains he continues to play well in Grand Slams, despite recent losses and not securing a Grand Slam title in the last two years.
"Hopefully it's not my last match on the Centre Court. I'm not planning to finish my Wimbledon career today. So I'm planning to come back definitely at least one more time, play on the Centre Court for sure."
"I've put everything I possibly can when it comes to training and preparing myself so I can play my best at Grand Slams. I think, regardless of the fact that I haven't won a Grand Slam this year, or last year, I still feel like I continue to play my best tennis at Grand Slams."
