Al Jazeera English launched its first global brand campaign, 'Human Stories', to communicate more effectively what the network offers to a global audience. The campaign began in South Africa and will expand to 12 additional countries, including the UK, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and Nigeria. Short video clips will run online and the campaign will extend to outdoor advertising, radio and social media. The campaign positions Al Jazeera English as a news provider that centers on individuals within stories. Al Anstey visited London to mark the launch and renewed calls for the release of three jailed Al Jazeera journalists in Egypt.
