Xbox's Phil Spencer Says He Passed On Acquiring "So Many Games," Including Destiny And Guitar Hero

Phil Spencer reflects on his decisions regarding game acquisitions like Destiny and Guitar Hero, admitting he made some of the worst choices but holds no regrets.

"It's a game that I'll always love and a team I'll always have a ton of affinity for," said Spencer about Destiny, expressing admiration for its developers and impact.

Spencer humorously recalled skepticism about Guitar Hero: 'Do we really think that's going to work? A few people played Guitar Hero... I heard that turned into a pretty good game.'

Spencer emphasized his forward-looking mindset: 'I'm not a regrets-type person. I prefer to be positive and focus on Xbox's current initiatives rather than dwelling on the past.'
