Sony has unveiled the PS5 Pro, an impressive gaming hardware, but its $700 price and poor timing ahead of a big game release drought raise concerns.
Launching the PS5 Pro on November 7, with no major game titles from Sony's internal studios this holiday season, makes it a puzzling move.
While the PS5 Pro's GPU can render games 45% faster and uses machine learning for image clarity, the over-60 FPS capabilities are limited without high-end TVs.
Hideaki Nishino, CEO of the Platform, stated, 'We're always pushing ourselves to innovate so we can meet, and hopefully exceed, the evolving needs of our players.'
