Microsoft is introducing an AI-powered text editing feature called Rewrite in Notepad, allowing users to change sentence structure, tone, and length of content easily.
The Rewrite feature enables Windows Insiders to highlight text, select Rewrite, and receive three rewritten versions to enhance their writing in Notepad.
Users must sign in to their Microsoft account to access Rewrite, as it's a cloud-based service requiring authentication and authorization.
In addition to Rewrite in Notepad, Microsoft is also testing new AI image editing features in Paint, including Generative Fill and Generative Erase.
