Neuralink, the brain-computer interface company founded by Elon Musk, has implanted its first device in a human patient. The device, called Telepathy, enables users to control a phone or computer through their thoughts. The initial recipients of the implant are individuals who have lost the use of their limbs. The company received approval from the FDA to begin human trials last year.
