Enel X Way North America announced that it is shutting down its EV business in the US and Canada, discontinuing all connectivity services for JuiceBox chargers.
The company will turn off customer support immediately and disconnect the JuiceBox app, which has suffered from low ratings and was integral for functionality.
Enel cites strategic refocusing and changing dynamics in the US EV market, particularly rising interest rates and unmet sales growth expectations, as reasons for the closure.
Despite the discontinuation in North America, Enel's operations and products in other regions will continue unaffected, as the firm shifts focus to established markets.
