Free Starlink Internet is coming to all of United's airplanes
Briefly

United Airlines is upgrading in-flight Internet by partnering with Starlink to provide free satellite-based Wi-Fi across its aircraft starting in 2025.
In-flight Wi-Fi has evolved significantly from its early days, starting from slow, costly air-to-ground systems to the use of satellites, massively enhancing the passenger experience.
By 2011, Wi-Fi became commonplace on flights, while the previous decade saw passengers grapple with unreliable air-to-ground services that were often frustrating and slow.
The move to satellite-based Internet, including SpaceX's Starlink service, represents a major leap forward for passenger connectivity, with many airlines already reaping the benefits.
