Apple exec explains the company's 'secret weapon' when making its own chips
Briefly

"We design our chips from the ground up for our products, and that is a tremendous strategic advantage that we have," said Tom Boger, Apple's VP of Mac product marketing.

"Our fourth tool, really our secret weapon, is that we control the entire process from the architecture to the design to the manufacturing technology," Millet explained.
