From 2019 to 2020, Chinese land ownership increased by 30%. U.S. companies with Chinese stakeholders' land holdings surged by nearly 100% during the same period.
The largest Chinese landowner is Chen Tianqiao, who owns 198,000 acres in Oregon and is the 93rd richest person in China, valued at $4 billion.
