As Fisker progresses through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy, owners of the Ocean SUVs will be responsible for labor costs related to two major recalls, despite the company covering parts.
Fisker disclosed that three of the five recalls for its Ocean SUVs can be rectified through free over-the-air updates, while troublesome issues involve faulty door handles and critical electric water pumps.
In an effort to resolve its bankruptcy situation, Fisker has settled with key creditors and is now focused on liquidating over $1 billion in assets, including manufacturing equipment.
