Alphabet spins off Chorus, its moonshot bet on solving supply chain headaches
Briefly

Chorus, initially incubated in Alphabet's X lab, is becoming an independent company to accelerate its growth and service availability. The project aims to enhance global supply chain efficiency by providing businesses with real-time insights into their goods through advanced technology, including sensors and machine learning. Series X Capital has led a funding round that will facilitate this transition, supported by Alphabet's investment. The move is expected to help Chorus roll out its visibility and inventory management solutions more rapidly.
The next big milestones are making our visibility, condition monitoring and remote inventory management services generally available, said Chorus CEO Suresh Vishnubhatla.
Chorus develops tools that track how goods move through the supply chain and sells sensors that businesses attach to their products.
