Since joining the Kensington club in January, Chris has lost three and a half stone, noting that he was stuck in bad dietary habits before joining. The support from MAN v FAT helped him regain control of his health. He remarked, "I'd got into some bad habits with my diet and not really paying attention to what I was eating so I wasn't getting anywhere trying to lose weight. Plus, I'd been wanting to get back into football for a long time, so MAN v FAT was a no brainer for me."
Richard Crick, Head of Football at MAN v FAT, emphasized the club's dual mission: weight loss and community. He stated, "While the main aim of the programme is to help men lose weight, MAN v FAT is about so much more than that. Great friendships are formed at our clubs and thousands of personal stories of transformation unfold. It's a supportive, friendly environment that goes beyond football."
