Shah Aghlani, who lost his aunt and disabled mother in the fire, told The Independent that the prospect of further delay to criminal prosecutions is our worst fear coming true, our nightmare coming true.
Aghlani labeled a recent fire as Grenfell Two, noting a lack of accountability has emboldened developers to neglect fixing buildings endangered by flammable cladding.
He emphasized that there are harsher laws for drinking and driving than for corporate manslaughter, criticizing the system for failing to hold those responsible for the Grenfell tragedy accountable.
