Orla O'Connor to step down from her role as director of National Women's Council

Ms O'Connor will depart from the National Women's Council (NWC) for a role as executive director of St Stephen's Green Trust. Her career at NWC spanned 23 years, with 13 years in a director position. She regarded her time at NWC as the greatest honor of her career and expressed excitement for her next journey. The NWC chairperson praised Ms O'Connor as a true feminist leader, acknowledging her contributions to women's rights and equality in Ireland. NWC will commence the search for a new director shortly.
