Hate crime investigation underway after San Jose Jewish-owned business vandalized
Briefly

In San Jose, a Jewish-owned business was vandalized with hateful graffiti, including swastikas and KKK symbols. The business owner, Lior Zeevi, expressed sadness and disappointment over the attack. Surveillance footage showed three individuals targeting vehicles with Jewish stickers. Rabbi Mendel Weinfeld lamented the hateful act against a community-supporting business. Despite feelings of fear and anger, he emphasized resilience, believing that Jewish teachings encourage overcoming hate with goodness and kindness. The local police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.
They broke the windows, they broke side mirrors and swastikas and KKK on the door. It's very sad and very disappointing that's to do these kind of bad things. It makes no sense - this kind of hate.
Three guys came in and started spraying right away. You can see they are checking which vehicles have our stickers on it - so they targeted us, clearly. I just think that it was weak people that had nothing better to do.
It's very sad to see this, just for being Jewish. This is a business who actually supports the community and does a lot for the community. We await the day that such things will never happen.
We've had such things throughout our history - we've had so much hate, and this is resilience in Jewish people, where we come out of it stronger.
