Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran has been charged by the Football Association with improper conduct following his aggressive reaction to being sent off during a match.
The 21-year-old Colombian was shown a red card for allegedly stamping on Newcastle defender Fabian Schar, and the FA subsequently rejected Villa's appeal against a three-match suspension.
Duran's response to the dismissal included kicking a water bottle and needing to be restrained, which prompted the additional improper conduct charge.
Duran has until January 3rd to respond to the charges, and further disciplinary action could be imposed depending on the outcome.
