James Tarkowski has signed a two-year contract extension with Everton that runs until 2028. The 32-year-old defender joined Everton on a free transfer from Burnley in 2022 and has made 128 appearances for the club. Tarkowski earned two England caps and was named vice-captain in 2023. He has started all seven Premier League matches this season as Everton sit eighth in the table.
