Doucette emphasized that assuming NFL players will automatically take spots on the Olympic flag football team is disrespectful to those who built the sport.
He stated, "I love the fact that they wanna play, and that they wanna come out and compete, but at the end of the day, we want the same process that we've been having to play."
Doucette argued, "I feel like I'm better than Patrick Mahomes because of my IQ of the game," highlighting his superior understanding of flag football.
