Michael McArdle has been appointed interim head coach of Scotland women's national team while the Scottish FA search for a permanent successor after Pedro Martinez Losa's departure.
McArdle, head of women's elite football for the SFA, will lead the Scots in their upcoming Nations League matches after a disappointing absence from major tournaments.
After failing to qualify for Euro 2025 and the 2023 World Cup, the national team looks to rebuild under McArdle's guidance.
McArdle has experience coaching under-19 and under-17 youth teams, successfully advancing them in European Championship qualifiers, and is focused on talent development.
