Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers emphasized the importance of patience for young players like Arne Engels, who, despite initial struggles, has tremendous potential for development.
Rodgers reflected on the development journey of Paulo Bernardo, stating, "He was exactly the same... Now he can't be cheered on loud enough when he enters the pitch. That's called development, it's called patience, it's called time."
He added, "I've been really pleased since he's come in, because I know the future for him. He will improve, he will develop and get better."
Rodgers highlighted the pressures players face at Celtic, saying, "the scrutiny is on you" for young talents adjusting to the high expectations at a championship-winning club.
