Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham Forest: Sarr and Hudson-Odoi score as Eagles fans mock Marinakis with banner and Nuno denies exit talk
Briefly

Ismaila Sarr gave Palace the lead in the 37th minute by tapping in Daniel Munoz's cross, and Marc Guehi struck the post shortly after as Palace pressed for a second. Both teams made substitutions—Palace replacing Ebere Eze with Justin Devenney and later bringing on Romain Esse, while Forest introduced James McAtee and Omari Hutchinson—and both pushed for a late winner. Igor Jesus struck the post in added time. Tensions were heightened by Palace losing a Europa League place over UEFA ownership breaches and a provocative fan banner targeting Evangelos Marinakis.

Sarr opened the scoring for the hosts in the 37th minute when he tapped in Daniel Munoz's cross at the near post, with Marc Guehi hitting the post shortly after as the Eagles went close to doubling their lead. But Forest drew level with a trademark counter-attack as Dan Ndoye sent Callum Hudson-Odoi clear of the Palace defence with a wonderful pass
Sunday's game at Selhurst Park had an added layer of spice to it after FA Cup winners Palace lost their place in the Europa League after breaking UEFA's multi-club ownership rules, with Nottingham Forest taking their place. The demotion came about after Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis reportedly complained to UEFA about Palace's offence, leaving there to be some bad blood between the two clubs and chants against the Greek and European football's governing body heard throughout the game.
