Concacaf reveals pairings for '26 WC qualification
Briefly

World Cup qualifying in North and Central America and the Caribbean took shape Thursday with the draw for a 30-nation second round that will narrow the field to 12 finalists for three automatic berths to join the United States, Mexico and Canada in the 2026 tournament.
Each nation will play four matches that will be scheduled for June 2024 and June 2025. The top two nations in each group advance, and the 12 teams will be drawn into three groups of four. Each of those countries will play six games from September through November in 2025, and the three group winners qualify.
