Alanna Kennedy, the Australian international defender for Manchester City, is set to leave the club on a permanent transfer after three and a half years. During her time at City, she made 64 appearances, including 15 this season. Despite being a key player, her absence from a recent significant loss to Manchester United was notable. There was an initial announcement linking her to NWSL side Angel City, but it was later removed. Kennedy reflected positively on her experience, thanking the club and its supporters for cherished memories and friendships.
Manchester has been my home for the past three and a half years and I am leaving with a lot of amazing memories.
It has been a privilege to play alongside you all and I wish you all of the continued success for the rest of the season and beyond.
