San Jose Turkey Trot draws thousands

The Silicon Valley Turkey Trot celebrated its 20th anniversary with a record turnout of 23,000 participants, raising over $12 million for local nonprofits in its history.
"We are grateful for all the support," said Kim Fennell. "This event symbolizes community spirit, and it’s the largest Turkey Trot on the planet, thanks to everyone’s involvement."
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan praised the founders, stating, "What a beautiful vision 20 years ago, and what an incredible legacy for our community, cultivated by this event."
