Loretta, a chic cocktail bar with a Grateful Dead connection, is coming to downtown Menlo Park
Briefly

Menlo Park is getting a new addition to its downtown that could help the city start to shake off its "Menlo Dark" moniker with Loretta, a vibrant bar.
Ali Elsafy, who has run Bistro Vida since 1998, aims to create a younger, playfully vibrant atmosphere at Loretta to attract late-night crowds, especially post-concert traffic.
With the bar reflecting local history and cultural influences, Loretta plans to spin Grateful Dead albums on Wednesdays, adding a unique touch to the live music experience.
Opening on Feb. 3, Loretta will offer a cocktail menu that changes with seasons and aims to serve both classic and innovative drinks, enhancing the local nightlife.
