Starlink weathers solar storm
Briefly

A stronger than usual solar flare and coronal mass ejection led to a geomagnetic storm causing aurora borealis and disruptions to services such as Starlink satellite broadband and GPS signals.
Despite the storm, Starlink held up well with CEO Elon Musk mentioning the pressure the satellites were under but confirming they were holding up. SpaceX also tweeted that all Starlink satellites remained healthy.
Some users experienced degraded service from Starlink during the storm, with reports of slower download speeds and 'micro' outages. Similarly, GPS systems for farmers in the US Midwest were temporarily knocked offline, impacting operations.
