Blue Origin is set to launch six passengers, including Ed Dwight, America's first Black astronaut candidate, who has never been to space. The company resumed its space tourism flights after putting them on hold due to a rocket booster issue.
After a rocket booster issue in September 2022 triggered an emergency escape system, Blue Origin had to carry out 21 corrective actions, including redesigning engine and nozzle components. In December, the company successfully launched 33 science payloads into space.
