Artemis II astronaut puts all of our iPhone moon photos to shame
NASA allowed Artemis II astronauts to use smartphones for photography during their mission. Astronaut Reid Wiseman captured a photo of the Chebyshev crater on his iPhone 17 Pro with an 8x zoom. The mission launched on April 1 and reached a record distance of 252,756 miles from Earth. The crew completed a lunar flyby on April 6 and is expected to return to Earth on April 10, with more images of the moon anticipated to be released soon.
