A Biosignature Based on Modeling Panspermia and Terraformation: Summary and Discussion | HackerNoon
Briefly

Our findings demonstrate that a positive Mantel correlation coefficient with a low p-value can effectively help in identifying regions of space that harbor life. This method is vital as it allows us to filter planets by their likelihood of being terraformed, ultimately enhancing our understanding of how life could spread across different planetary systems.
In assessing planetary compositions, our study concluded that when recognizing likely terraformed planets, clusters with low likelihoods of harboring non-terraformed planets were essential; this could significantly reduce false positives in biosignature detection. This insight is crucial for astrobiological research as it offers a more nuanced approach to identifying celestial bodies that may support life.
