Hollister car chase ends in crash, arrest of two South Bay residents

A San Jose man and a Gilroy woman were arrested in Hollister after a car chase following their failure to stop for police. Authorities were alerted to the Dodge Durango, which had been involved in an earlier pursuit in Gilroy. After crashing into two vehicles, the suspects fled but were apprehended shortly thereafter. The vehicle contained over 100 pieces of stolen mail and personal documents, along with narcotics. Both suspects were evaluated medically before being booked into jail on multiple charges, as others involved in the crash received minor injuries.
An officer found a Dodge Durango after it entered Hollister, as alerts indicated it was wanted in connection with an earlier chase.
The occupants of the Dodge were arrested, leading to the discovery of over 100 pieces of stolen mail and narcotics.
