Monday/Tuesday BP: And now for the storm
Briefly

The biggest free agent is now Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and unfortunately he'll be a hard one to land. Both New York teams are reportedly all in, and it seems that the Dodgers, after dropping the largest contract in sports history on a position they didn't really need help at, are still open to freely spending to fill the holes in their roster.
And then there's the trade market, which might suit the Giants needs to try and acquire a star bat. In addition to pitchers like Corbin Burnes and Tyler Glasnow, we might see anything from young, up-and-coming stars, to arbitration-eligible bats like Randy Arozarena, to proven stars like Pete Alonso all be made available. Christian Yelich, anyone? Perhaps the tune around Mike Trout has changed now that Ohtani has left town?
