The Giants sustained a blow when catcher Patrick Bailey was placed on the 7-day concussion IL after leaving the game with blurred vision from a foul tip.
Tom Murphy will take over primary catching duties for the Giants in Bailey's absence, bringing valuable experience to the pitching staff.
