Just four days after right-handed pitcher Mason Black made his MLB debut, the Giants are turning to young infielder Casey Schmitt due to injuries.
Schmitt, known for his Gold Glove-caliber defense at third base, had a rollercoaster performance in AAA but is now given the opportunity to show his potential in the MLB.
