Bosa expressed his concern about the injury initially, stating, 'It sucks. I mean, the first second you get injured, you have a million thoughts go through your head and most of them are negative.' He continued, mentioning the emotional labor involved in recovery and how he shifted to a positive outlook once he received good news about his injury.
Regarding his recovery, Bosa commented on his fear of losing strength, stating, 'I was worried about losing strength while recovering from the surgery but said he has had three really good practices this week that prove that he still has power.' He emphasized that maintaining strength is critical for him.
Bosa discussed the use of a protective club during his recovery, saying, 'The medical club will be a short-term addition to Bosa's game-day attire... there's no reason to rush and cause any problems.' His prudent approach highlights a focus on long-term recovery.
On regaining full functionality, Bosa mentioned, 'Once I have complete range and grip strength, which I pretty much already do, I'll be out of it.' This statement reflects his optimism about returning to full capacity after the injury.
