Reports surfaced Tuesday that the San Francisco 49ers and Odum had agreed on a two-year contract extension. The deal is reportedly worth up to $10.8 million in total, keeping him with the Red & Gold through the 2026 season.
George Odum, 30, joined the 49ers in 2022 as a depth secondary member. In two seasons, he's become a pivotal special-team ace for SF, leading the NFL in ST tackles (31). Prior to getting hurt last season, he lead the league with 21 tackles, and was a noticeable absence when he was off the field.
