The 49ers are reuniting with veteran safety Tashaun Gipson, signing him to their practice squad after he was released by the Jaguars earlier this week.
Gipson was cut from the Jaguars following a six-game suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing substance policy, thus he hasn't played this season.
In his time with the 49ers during the 2022-2023 seasons, Gipson contributed significantly, recording 60 tackles, one interception, and one sack across 16 games.
