The New England Patriots have announced the release of wide receiver Jalen Reagor, creating an additional opening on their practice squad, as they look to reshape their roster.
Reagor, the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, had spent time on both the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings before arriving at the Patriots on the practice squad.
In his NFL career, Reagor has achieved a total of 97 receptions for 937 receiving yards and four touchdowns, including an impressive performance in his previous teams' kicking game.
After a brief tenure with the practice squad and a one-year contract followed, Reagor's departure marks another transition in his professional journey as the Patriots adjust their lineup.
