Brock Purdy is on pace to throw for over 4,600 yards this season, surpassing the franchise's single-season record of 4,280 yards he set just last year.
Dan Orlovsky stated, "This is the best football of Brock Purdy's career... he's played the most consistent football of his career, despite injuries to playmakers and an offensive line in flux."
Orlovsky elaborated, "The timing of their pass game right now is as consistent as it's been since Brock Purdy took over... he's probably playing the best football of any NFC quarterback right now."
Purdy acknowledged, "I think I just have enough to get out of the pocket and make a play, pick up five, seven yards... But I'm not [Lamar Jackson] by any means."
