San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that De'Vondre Campbell's refusal to enter the game after losing his starting role led to his exit from the team.
Shanahan stated that Campbell's actions during the game cannot be condoned and that the 49ers are working through how to appropriately handle his conduct.
