"First and foremost, I want to thank God, I feel so blessed to be standing up here right now.I want to thank my family, my fiancee, you guys know how much I love you. Your support means absolutely everything to me. All the sacrifices that you make for me, it's not easy and doesn't go unseen. I'm not up here without you guys," Christian McCaffrey said when accepting the award Thursday.
"Football is the greatest game on the planet. It's the biggest team sport in the world. And we're so lucky to get to enjoy it and the fact that I get to go to go to battle with you guys every week is one of my greatest honors because of the way you guys play football and inspire me every single day. I'm not up here without you, I love you guys. We got one more, let's go finish it the right way," he said.
